This is a custom design for a residential home. It measures approxamately 2 feet tall by 4 feet wide and contains over 172 pieces of hand-cut glass. The center cross (see detail) has a complex celtic knotwork design acid etched inside it's 5 pieces.

Due to the complexity of the border, this window was created with the Tiffany copper-foil method. Traditional lead would not have allowed for such flexibility in the knotwork.

This window is made up of a mix of waterglass, rough-rolled glass, and iridized glass which give it a unique look both in daylight and at light.

The window is custom framed with a 1-inch painted wood frame and installed with "L" brackets for easy removal for cleaning.
